Madame de Pompadour as companion to the Doctor
I feel like Reinette would immediately change her clothing choices once she started traveling with the Doctor.  Once it is no longer required to wear a corset that pushes your shoulder blades nearly to touching, you don’t wear it.  She would still probably have issues with wearing really revealing clothes like short shorts and tank tops, since no women of her time wore that unless they were immoral.  (And yes I know she was mistress to the King, which is not the height of morality, but she still dressed for proper society). The result is a look very inspired by her time, but more comfortable and modernized.  She would probably pick up inspiration from the places and times she visits with the Doctor.  These are two looks I could imagine her wearing on her travels with the Doctor.
And I will be amazed if anyone actually reads that. :)Victorian lace blouse, $43Wallis cream blouse, $35OrangeBear cotton jacket, $21Staring At Stars cropped pants, $45River Island long skirt, £30ASOS leather boots, $39Cameo necklace, $201928 rose gold bangle, $38Victorian necklace, $301928 antique jewelry, $22Bing Bang rose jewelry, $40Urban Outfitters wide belt, $7.99Funtasma Victorian 112 - Brown/Tan PU - Free Shipping & Return…, $35
